Booking and planning your party

How do I book a party?

Booking is easy. You can book online anytime here or contact us to do this together and answer any questions in person

Yes of course. And we have up to 5 party thrones so each birthday child can feel special.

 Yes! You can pop by to pick up as many invitations as you need or ask us to post them for a small charge. A soft copy is also available to print or screen shot when you book, or email e-invites to the parents.

 Don’t worry - we know you won’t know your guest numbers when you book! Give us your best estimate when you book and you can adjust your numbers up or down at any time up to a week before the party.

 You’ll pay a non refundable deposit of £75 (£150 for exclusive hires) when you book. The balance of your party is due a week before the party date.

 No, you must pay the balance of your party a week before the party date. Our catering deliveries and staff plans need to be made in advance.

 If there is less than a week to go before your party and you need to move the date we will charge a £50 admin fee to rebook your party to a new mutually convenient date.

Please note your deposit is not refundable

Adults & Guests

Are adults included?

Yes - parents and carers are welcome! The birthday child can bring in up to 6 adults and each party guest can bring in one adult as part of the party package. Additional adults must pay for their own ticket at reception or you can agree to settle up for them. Some packages have seating limits especially the Treetops space.

Yes, please include the birthday child in your guest numbers.

 Yes — babies under 6 months are welcome to join the party free of charge. Babies aged 6 – 11 months will need a baby entrance ticket to help us monitor capacity.

Children aged 12 months+ will need to be counted as party guests if you want them to sit down and enjoy the party food. If they are very young you can purchase a regular entrance ticket for them but they will not be catered for. Just let us know and make sure they are added to your party register.

 You can log into your booking online and change the guest numbers, add details of dietary requirements and include any extra party bits up to a week before your party date.

You can also fill in the guest details online so we have a list of the children coming along, or complete a party register to bring along on the day.

 We do not give refunds for children who do not show up on the day. Only finalise and pay for your definite numbers of guests.

If there are guests you are uncertain about when you finalise, please let us know and add them to your register as a TBC or ??? We allow up to 5 extra child guests on the day and you can pay for them on arrival. If one of your “definite” guests drops out, any extra guest can take their place.

Food & Dietary requirements

Is food included in the party price?

 Yes — all daytime parties include hot or cold party food and unlimited squash. Exclusive Hire has optional catering.

 No – we make this easy for you! Our party buffets give each child a selection of everything so you don’t need to ask for individual choices. Just make sure you let us know any dietary restrictions or requests with the name of the child and details in advance.

 Absolutely — bring your cake and any candles (just no sparklers please). Please make sure you have a list of all the ingredients with you in case your guests ask but your cake MUST NOT CONTAIN ANY NUTS.

We will bring out the cake for everyone to sing happy birthday with our special music and lighting effects.

If you’d like the guests to take cake home, we can cut and wrap slices of cake for everyone. The cake will be brought to reception for you to hand out as your guests leave. Please note that the cake cannot be eaten at the party.

 Yes of course! We have a great range of hot and cold snacks and nibbles.

You can add them when you book and you’ll also be sent our Extras menu with your confirmation. Add them or adjust quantities at any time before you finalise your party.

Exclusive hires

When do Exclusive Hire parties take place?

 Standard exclusive hires start after closing time for a full have Wild ‘n’ Wacky all to yourself celebration. Times may vary slightly dependent on earlier parties.

Can younger children cope with an evening party?

 Most groups manage well, but if you prefer, earlier start times are available for an additional charge.

Please remember we are a large venue, so the prices for earlier exclusive hire take into account the bookings we’d give up by closing early.

What’s the capacity for an Exclusive Hire?

 Up to 100 children — ideal for class parties joint birthdays, end of term celebrations or fundraisers.

We do specially discounted rates for registered charities, schools and voluntary groups.

I’d like party food at my Exclusive Hire – how does it work?

 Catering is flexible to suit your budget, depending on the size of your guest list!

Choose a full per head hot or cold party buffet with our special ice creams, or more budget friendly platters of pizza bites, chicken goujons and super-size bowls of fries. We’ll help you work out quantities.

We also do adult nibbles and hot snacks.

The servery will be open for hot and cold drinks, crisps and cakes etc, but the kitchen will not be staffed unless arranged with us in advance.

Why can’t I book an earlier exclusive hire online?

 We can close specially for a super early exclusive hire but we need to make sure no one else has booked anything first.

What time should we arrive?

 Aim to arrive 10 minutes before your session to get settled and meet your party host.

Can I arrange a mascot, entertainer or face painter to come along?

 Yes! Just let us know in advance as we’ll need a copy of their DBS check (if available) and insurance cover.

Ask us about how to time everything. We suggest the mascot comes for the party food and birthday cake celebration.


What if we’re running late?

 Don’t worry — we’ll fit you in when you arrive, but we can’t extend the session.
